(vivarium) memory 1

memory summary; a talk with clive

gained through; the second ab game, betrayal

time; day 6

You're standing by the creek in town, and you're not really sure when you got there. It happens a lot these days, you just lose track of yourself and suddenly you're somewhere else entirely. People usually leave you be at least, either out of pity or something else you don't really want to dwell on.

Your mother said someone was coming into town today, and you don't need to hear her say it to know it's about him and everything that happened just a few days before. You're not really sure how you feel about it, you're not really sure how you feel about a lot of things, it was easier to drift along, honestly. You'd find your footing again eventually, wouldn't you.

The stranger coming into town finds you first. You can't imagine anyone had been that helpful- his father was still so angry, Henry was still so distant, Angela wouldn't come out of her house. You talk to him, for a long time, long enough that the sky starts to get dark and you're not sure if you were just wandering late or if it really was such a long discussion. You can't bring yourself to give him many details but he seems smart, certainly smart enough to read between the lines.

You feel better somehow, having said anything at all to someone who was an outsider to this town and it's mourning. He seems to want to talk again, maybe more about this, maybe in general. You nod along, because even if all of this was just to tell the story about what happened here that was important too. After all, ------- always did love to have his name in the spotlight.

summary;
- knew Clive, well shit
- learned Clive was a reporter from London
- lived in a town called Stansbury, probably still a student
- a very vague idea of the Randall Scandal drama, though with none of the details and feelings attached.
- the names Angela and Henry now exist

effect;
- yeah guilt
- mostly just the guiltier thing
